However, it has just occurred to me that when we talk about the products that could be hearted from a  poultry farm, the focus is always on the table eggs for consumption with some consideration for meat, however, possible  products from a poultry farm are more than eggs and meat. While a lot of farmers start the venture with the intention of either gathering eggs or selling meat, products from the poultry farm include –

1. Feather– In the process of dressing the birds, you need not throw the feathers away with the water. Selling of the feathers can be another source of income if sold (for example to artist for their craft)
2. Litters – When I started poultry farming I never knew I can make money from the litters, I was paying some people to help dispose the litters  (don’t make the same mistake I made). You can make money from the litters when you sell out to crop farmers (particularly vegetable farmers in your area). The crop farmers uses the litters as organic fertilizers to improve the soil quality.
3. Offal –The poultry offal include the intestine and other organs (such as the gizzard, kidney, etc.) which can be gathered while processing the birds. The intestine is used as a base material combined with other /chemicals materials for making fertilizers to improve soil quality. On the other-hand, the organs such as gizzards, liver and kidney are used for preparing some special soups/meals. The poultry offal when gathered together is another produce from the poultry far that can be a source of extra income to the poultry farmer.
4. Poult – Poults are young chicken sold out to others to rear for its meat. Your farm product can be a poult. You don’t have to rear the birds until they are big before you sell them, you can sell the young chicks out for an income and allow other farms rear the birds to the mature stage.
5. Day-old chicks – You can operate your poultry farm as a hatchery for selling day-old chicks to farmers who do not have the capacity to hatch their layer eggs.
6. Offal – If selling the meat for consumption is your purpose, selling the poultry offal is another produce of the farm. The poultry intestine and other organs (such as the gizzard) can be gathered and sold for extra income. Gizzards, liver and/or kidney can be used for special meals and the intestine used as base material for some fertilizers.
7. Processed meat– Selling the mature bird is one opportunity for selling the poultry meat, however, value can be added to make it another product option for the consumer – it can be processed further to become a frozen foods, grilled chicken, smoked chicken, etc. to the delight of the customer(s).
8. Manure from litters and intestine waste which are useful to crop farmers as organic fertilizer for soil fertility improvement 
9. Egg shell useful for proving essential supplement like calcium in the production of animal feed
